The minimum you’d expect from a non-malevolent government... is to take every single measure possible to prevent the impending calamities:

• Global Warming accelerated by the plunder of fossil fuels;
• Decline of Natural Resources caused by predatory economy;
• Looming Global War waged by the ruling elite against the poor and dispossessed.
